The Community of Practice (CoP) offers a unique membership has a Seat. Each seat represents a significant commitment to advancing foster youth and community development.
CoP Seat Purchase Details:
Stipends are linked to membership seats, vendor sales, and other CoP activities. Total of all earnings for each income type (A, B, C, D) are documented in statements.
CoP Income Categories and Types
Unearned Income
Income 1: Membership Stipends are paid for each seat. It is a percentage of the stipend that's distributed whenever a new member threshold is reached. This encourages sustainable growth and collective prosperity. (100% Unearned)
Income 2: Vendor Sales Revenue Income from vendor sales is distributed in the first month of each trimester. This revenue is shared proportionally among seat holders based on their participation and contribution. (100% Unearned)
Earned Income
Income 3: Referral Action Members earn referral payments by attracting new members to the CoP. This provides incentives for outreach and community expansion.

ReStart CoP & Restorative Justice
In The ReStart Initiative Community of Practice (CoP), Restorative Justice is utilized as a tool for mitigation and arbitration within teams.
Through an introduction and orientation process, team members learn about Restorative Justice and its relevance to the CoP's goals.
Training sessions deepen their understanding of the principles and techniques involved. Restorative practices are established to foster a safe and supportive environment, encouraging open communication and empathy.
Regular restorative circles promote dialogue and reflection, facilitating conflict resolution and positive team dynamics. Trained mediators guide the restorative processes, ensuring neutrality and providing a space for parties to express concerns and reach mutually agreeable solutions.
