ReStart Project Overview

The LA County ReStart Project, led by The ReStart Initiative in partnership with Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) across California, is committed to supporting business owners, families, and nonprofits in Los Angeles County.

In response to the recent fires. ReStart is increasing our community reinvestment by 10% from our vendor income. Our current contribution of 25%-40% will now increase to 35%-50%, benefiting LA County households, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations.

ReStart allocates a portion of its earnings as unearned income, which is distributed through U.S. Bank debit cards. This initiative provides direct financial relief while strengthening economic resilience within communities.
